This approach reduces the weight of the engine design as well as improves architecture.

Advantages of Using e-Axle:

  • Reducing engine mass and volume
  • Improving motor integration and efficiency
  • Increasing vehicle balance and performance
  • Helps preserve Honda’s driving experience heritage

The introduction of this innovation in the vehicle design was also intended to help preserve Honda’s signature sporty driving experience. Despite moving towards electrification, the focus remains on maintaining engaging handling and driver feedback. This ensures that performance and driving enjoyment are not lost in the transition to EVs. As a result, the 0 Saloon continues to reflect Honda’s sporty DNA while embracing new technology.
