The ID.7 follows the clean design language established across Volkswagen’s electric ID. family while placing particular attention on aerodynamic efficiency. Its front section and roofline are carefully contoured to reduce energy consumption and support greater driving range. 3. Modular Electric Drive Matrix (MEB) Platform

Hidden underneath its aerodynamic shape, the ID.7 rides on Volkswagen Group’s Modular Electric Drive Matrix (MEB platform). The Group’s electric architecture combines short front and rear overhangs with a particularly long 2.97-meter wheelbase. Thanks to the wheels being as close as possible to the outer edges of the body, Volkswagen designers and engineers were able to optimize the space inside the vehicle, while still giving it the proportions of a large electric sedan.

The all-wheel-drive models will also share this battery and will have an additional motor that improves traction.

The regular IQ. DRIVE Advanced Driver Assistance Package equips the ID.7 with a suite of features that help the driver on the daily drive. These include the semi-automated hands-on driving assistant, which can support speed, lane keeping, automatic change, and highway guidance when the vehicle is in motion. The Pro S Plus high-end trim level includes the benefit of a more versatile chassis, along with exterior styling features, comfort features, and high-end sound system technology for your ID.7. In addition to DCC adaptive damping control and progressive dynamic steering to improve the overall driving experience, this ID.7 trim is equipped with 20-inch wheels for a more striking image. The available exterior colors for this trim level include Mythos Black, Glacier White, Moonstone Grey, Aquamarine Blue and Kings Red.
