Whether hypercars designed to obliterate the laws of physics, or classic cars that simply holds sentimental value in a star’s life these rides prove that fame doesn’t stop a star from being a car fanatic like us.

Considering that image, you’d assume that this would mean Mr. Eastwood is a man who drives the biggest and meanest thing he can find. Surprisingly, in the electric Fiat 500e, he’s more of a sensible down-to-earth character who’s interested in practical transportation.

The automobile has been valued tremendously over the decades due to its links to the retired pope. In 1996, the car sold for $102,000 and a year after Benedict XVI’s death in 2005, it sold again in the amount of $690,000. Despite fluctuating value in additional auctions, one of Ford’s costliest Escorts that ever hit the auction block is due to this well known factor to it.

7. John Lennon’s Austin Maxi

Arguably, there is no musician more influential in history than John Lennon, but even his interest in driving couldn’t hold a candle to his musical talents. In 1969 Lennon traveled to Scotland with his family and drove an utterly normal British hatchback known as the Austin Maxi.
