1. Lucid Gravity
There was no other EV that made as much of an impression on us at the 2025 New York Auto Show as the Lucid Gravity. It is not any other electric SUV; it is a full-size luxury monster that can comfortably carry seven adults in its large three-row seating layout. Lucid has really surpassed itself and presented an SUV that combines luxurious comfort with a breakthrough efficiency and that is a testament to their philosophy.
Why to buy Lucid Gravity:
- SUV with seven seats reinvents the electric comfort and space.
- Innovative trunk is a tailgating seat.
- Ultra-wide display and panoramic glass roof raise the cabin.
- 450-mile range is a new standard of efficiency.
The Lucid Gravity was the only EV that we found to be so captivating at the 2025 New York Auto Show. It is not another electric SUV, it is a full-size luxury powerhouse that can easily fit seven adults in its spacious three-row interior layout. Lucid has indeed exceeded itself, and presented an SUV that combines luxury comfort with a revolutionary efficiency, which is a manifestation of their main philosophy.
The innovative trunk design was one of the most interesting facts that we observed in the Lucid Gravity, even at the first sight. We are very excited with the possibilities here since it seems that you can add an accessory that cleverly transforms the trunk into a comfortable seat. To anyone that loves tailgating or outdoor activities, this feature alone creates an immense impression, but as we explored further we realized that there is so much more to love about this outstanding EV.
Entering the building, the interior of the Lucid Gravity is at once stunning with its carefully designed roof, the whole front part of which is beautifully covered with glass, which gives a sense of openness and airiness of the cabin. Such panoramic glass front is not a mere design gimmick, but it adds to the feeling of space and connection to the outside world. Moreover, a large and ultra-wide panoramic screen is placed in the dashboard and provides a futuristic command center, without filling the minimalist design language that Lucid so skillfully uses, thus leaving all passengers with ample legroom.
The real distinguishing feature of the Lucid Gravity, and what, in all honesty, struck us as simply staggering, is its unbelievable EPA-estimated range of 450 miles. This number is not only impressive, but it highlights the fact that Lucid is determined to be efficient, which has been proven to be a powerful tool in their earlier models. After already reaching an efficiency of 4.3 mi/kWh with the 2025 Lucid Air Pure, we would be flown off the ground in case the Gravity could even reach that unbelievable standard. Having an initial MSRP of 94,900 dollars and available immediately, the Gravity will be able to take the luxury SUV segment to the next level.

2. Kia EV4
After trying the huge and feature-packed EV9, we were already excited by Kia electric vehicles. Although the EV9 is an excellent car, the fact that it is priced higher is even more thrilling with the introduction of the Kia EV4. It is a full-size sedan that skillfully condenses the unique design language of the EV9 into a smaller and, more importantly, more affordable package that will be easier to maneuver around the city environment.
Kia EV4 features:
- Bold angular design that is striking.
- 81.4 kWh battery has a powerful 330-mile range.
- Luxury interior based on the bigger EV9.
- Projected price of less than $40,000- colossal value to an EV sedan.
We have been very much excited about the Kia electric lineup, particularly following the experience with the massive and feature-rich EV9. Although the EV9 is a tremendous car, the cost of the vehicle makes the entry of the Kia EV4 more thrilling. The entire full-size sedan is a masterpiece of reducing the unique design language of the EV9 into a smaller and, more importantly, more accessible format which is likely to be easier to maneuver on urban terrain.
The exterior design of Kia EV4 is hard-angled and creates an instant memorable impression. In the case of a sedan, such aesthetic is admittedly strange, but it is this radical decision that makes the EV4 stand out of the crowd in a dramatic way. It is a design philosophy that breaks the rules and the car is not only a means of transportation but a real head-turner in any street. The angularity and sharpness provide it with a really unique presence that cannot be overlooked.
The 2026 Kia EV4 GT-Line, of which we had the honor to take a look at the show, has an 81.4 kWh battery under its impressive exterior. This would be an amazing 330 miles EPA-estimated range on this strong power source. It is an incredibly good performance of a car of its type and it makes us wonder whether it can even match the performance that we have already seen in similar cars, such as the Hyundai Ioniq 6, which we have tested ourselves in the laboratory.
The EV4 has a reasonable amount of space within it, and it is evident how it intelligently adopts some of the favorite aesthetics of the EV9. The well-designed center armrest and the low-key ambient lighting are some of the elements that make the cabin environment sophisticated and welcoming. In the case of an all-electric sedan, the EV4 does have admirable interior space. Its general range may not be as large as the EV9, but the most interesting detail about the EV4 is, certainly, its expected price. Though not stated officially by Kia, the EV4 is expected to be priced below $40,000, which would make it a serious competitor, possibly even a Tesla Model 3 killer, as the average EV remains several thousand dollars higher. It is expected to be available in early 2026 and the wait is nearly intolerable!

3. Hyundai Ioniq 9
With the confirmed popularity and success of the Kia EV9, there is no wonder that Hyundai is capitalizing on the same successful platform with its new all-electric car, the Ioniq 9. This thrilling new model fits perfectly into the Hyundai Ioniq family, alongside the all-purpose crossover Ioniq 5 and the smooth sedan Ioniq 6. The Ioniq 9, similar to its Kia counterpart, is a strong three-row SUV, which can comfortably fit up to seven passengers, and this makes it an excellent option when it comes to bigger families or just one who needs a lot of space.
Hyundai Ioniq 9 core details:
- Three-row SUV seats seven in spacious comfort.
- Distinctive LED styling with bold, boxy aesthetics.
- Reclining “relaxation seats” redefine long-trip luxury.
- 110.3 kWh battery delivers 335 miles of range.
With the unquestionable popularity and success of the Kia EV9, it is not surprising that Hyundai is smartly using the same winning formula with its newest all-electric vehicle, the Ioniq 9. This thrilling new model perfectly fits in with the already popular Ioniq brand, alongside the all-purpose crossover Ioniq 5 and the stylish sedan Ioniq 6. Similar to its Kia counterpart, the Ioniq 9 is a strong three-row SUV, which can easily accommodate seven passengers, and it is a perfect fit to big families or individuals who just need more space.
The Ioniq 9 is especially interesting in its design since, although it has the same platform with the EV9, it does not aim to imitate it. It looks to us like a bigger, more imposing Hyundai Kona Electric, with that car having its characteristic LED strip over the front, and a slightly bubbled design. But just as the EV9, the Ioniq 9 makes great use of these LED accents on its front bumper to make a really special and eye-catching impression on the road, making it stand out in a saturated market.
To passengers, particularly those in the rear, the Ioniq 9 has a feature that we simply love: the second row features so-called relaxation seats that can fully recline, with inbuilt leg rests. It is a game changer in long journeys and it is the most comfortable. In addition to this luxury feel, the Ioniq 9 has outstanding utility in its third-row seating, which can be folded down easily to create a vast amount of trunk space. Talking of the trunk, the manner in which Hyundai has fashioned the rear half of this car is quite impressive as it creates a very boxy and utilitarian look that gives the car a clue of its practicality.
This large SUV is driven by a large battery with 110.3 kWh capacity that provides an impressive range of 335 EPA miles. This equates to a mileage of about 3.03 mi/kWh, which is incredibly good, given the sheer size of the Ioniq 9 and its ability to accommodate seven passengers. The Hyundai Ioniq 9, with a price of 62,000 MSRP and an expected release date in spring 2025, will cause a commotion, as it will offer a great mix of luxury, space, and electric performance.

4. Subaru Trailseeker
Subaru is adding another all-electric to its lineup with the Trailseeker, which, as we see it, builds on all the things we like about the Subaru Solterra and makes them larger, louder, and more grand. Externally, the Trailseeker intentionally shuns the more futuristic design features that make the Solterra visually unique. Rather, it adopts a style that is undoubtedly and stereotypically Subaru, nearly identical to the beloved Outback.
Essential facts of Subaru Trailseeker:
- Classic Subaru ruggedness meets electric innovation.
- Outback-inspired design appeals to loyal fans.
- Spacious cabin with expanded cargo capacity.
- Dual-motor system delivers 375 hp and 260-mile range.
This design direction is simply very logical, given the fact that the Outback has been popular and has had a fanbase throughout its history. It would be fair to say that the aesthetic of the Trailseeker is more modern and ruggedly handsome, which many will prefer over the frequently dramatic and occasionally polarizing appearance of some of the other EVs available in the market today. It is a down-to-earth, competent look that is sure to be adventurous.
Entering the cabin, the Subaru Trailseeker first impresses with a very similar driver side arrangement as the Solterra, including its typical cockpit-style steering wheel and supportive bucket seats. What immediately strikes, however, is the great addition of interior room. This is particularly so in the trunk section, where the Trailseeker obviously has a significant edge over the existing Solterra, which has impressive cargo space that makes it even more adaptable to active lifestyles.
This all-electric SUV has a powerful electric dual motor system under the hood or rather below the floor. This configuration produces about 375 horsepower, which is a strong performance number that would be more than sufficient to support heavier loads in the large trunk, which makes it a workhorse. Its power is admirable, but the only possible disadvantage is that the Trailseeker has a quite small battery with a capacity of 74.7 kWh, which has a range of 260 miles. The Trailseeker is currently taking shape as a potentially very interesting choice to anyone who wants an electric SUV that is practical, powerful, and uniquely Subaru.

5. Toyota bZ4X
Toyota made its first steps into the EV market with their first bZ4X and we were left wanting more; it did not leave the same mark that we were hoping it would. That is exactly why we are so excited about the 2025 Toyota bZ4X that will be a great and long-overdue refresh that directly responds to our past reservations. It is a good indication that Toyota is hearkening and developing its electric products.
Toyota bZ4X highlights:
- The updated design has more streamlined sporty lines.
- Nightshade edition brings in the element of stealth and sophistication.
- Still has spacious comfort of passengers and cargo.
- New model begins at 37,070 with a one-year free EVgo charging.
The first EV Toyota offered us with their first bZ4X made us feel that we wanted more; it did not create the unforgettable impression we were hoping to get. That is why we are so excited about the 2025 Toyota bZ4X that will feature a major and much-needed refresh that specifically responds to our prior reservations. It is a good indication that Toyota is hearing and developing its electric products.
The model of this year introduces a gorgeous refined body design which considerately softens the hard lines of the previous generation. Rather, the 2025 bZ4X is more fluid and gentle, with graceful curves around the bodywork. To its charm is added a new Nightshade version, which gives it an admittedly more sly and sophisticated air. We are completely in love with this combination, because it will give the bZ4X a sportier, more aggressive, and, ultimately, more attractive appearance that will really make it stand out.
Although the interior is not radically different than what we saw in last year model, the crossover SUV has a very generous amount of space, which makes it comfortable to the passengers and cargo. The bZ4X is, however, slightly pegged at 252 miles in terms of range. In the fast-evolving EV world today, we believe this number is on the lower end by the current standards, which is to say that this is an EV that you will probably have to charge more often than some competitors.
Toyota is also making the deal more palatable, despite the range. The purchase or lease of the new 2025 Toyota bZ4X now comes with a year of free charging under the EVgo charging network. This incentive in itself is a very big plus, particularly when one takes into consideration the fact that the model of this year comes with a very attractive price tag compared to its predecessor. It costs less by a significant margin than the 2024 model, which is priced at $43,070, and is therefore a significantly more attractive and affordable electric choice, which is currently available.

6. Renault 5 Turbo 3E
Get ready to have a splendid throwback, re-envisioned in the electric future! Renault is drastically reviving its classic 5 Turbo and it is doing so with an unquestionable panache of style. The new 5 Turbo 3E is grounded on the all-electric 5 E-Tech that is highly acclaimed by Renault, but that is where the similarities stop. The 120-horsepower, original front-wheel drive specifications have been turned inside out and modified into a rear-wheel-driven version with an outrageous 500 horsepower!
Renault 5 Turbo 3E important notes:
- Retro legend reborn as 500-hp electric rocket.
- 0-62 mph in 3.5 seconds -supercar speed.
- Wild rally styling is a tribute to the vintage Turbo.
- Small quantity guarantees collector status immediately.
It is not a nostalgic nod but it is a hardworking machine of performance. Such a phenomenal power output will launch the 5 Turbo 3E to supercar levels, with a scorching 0 to 62 mph acceleration of only 3.5 seconds. And to top that off and have your heart racing, the car is covered in pimped-out bodywork that shouts performance and attracts attention with its aggressive, rally-style stance. The blissful good news here is that the image we have viewed is not just a concept, this is the last, jaw-dropping production design, which is about to hit the streets.
This electric reincarnation of the original 5 Turbo, a legend of the rally world and a favorite hot hatch, is a clear manifestation of the spirit of the original. It promises to bring that unfiltered, unrefined driving thrill that its predecessor was so iconic with in an instant torque and silent acceleration of electric power.
But there is a sour part to it: these wonderful Turbos will be very few in number, and, as such, will become immediate collector’s items, and thus, very costly. It is speculated that the price will be over 150,000, which will indicate its exclusivity and its high performance qualification. The Renault 5 Turbo 3E, which will come in 2025, is one of the most anticipated and discussed EVs in the future, as its combination of retro-cool and futuristic power is not seen before, despite its high price.

7. Range Rover EV
And now, we have all been waiting a long time to see a fully electric Range Rover! And we will tell you, it is simply gorgeous. The Range Rover design team has done a brilliant job in making sure that this electric version still has that iconic commanding presence of the internal combustion engine (ICE) version, which, to be fair, is already a masterpiece. It is a tribute to classic design and state of the art electric performance.
Key points of Range Rover EV:
- Fully electric Range Rover still has iconic design.
- Guarantees the smoothing ride of all times.
- V8 Power 0-60 mph 4.6 seconds.
- Luxury and sustainability intersect at approximately 120,000.
Prepare to have an unprecedented driving experience since this is not an EV, but it is going to be the quietest and most luxurious Range Rover to date. Think of riding along in a quiet calm, amidst all the luxurious comfort, and yet to be able to control the road with a mighty power. Most importantly, the engineers have assured that it will be as fast as the blistering performance of the V8 model, and that is why you can look forward to a spectacular 0 to 60 mph acceleration in approximately 4.6 seconds. That is pure euphoria in a green bottle!
Land Rover has never given up on the quest to achieve perfection and has been subjecting prototypes to test in some of the most extreme conditions in the world. In November, it was also tested extensively in the hot deserts of the United Arab Emirates, where the temperatures reached more than 50 degrees Celsius. This intensive test was dedicated to the new torque and thermal management systems, which means that the Range Rover EV will work perfectly, regardless of the weather and the difficulty.
Although we cannot tell the exact date of its release, except that it will be in 2025, the hype is electric! Pricing speculation: It will start at about 120,000, and may go up to 160,000 for the high-end models. This makes the Range Rover EV squarely in the luxury market, with a promise of a combination of luxury, capability, and sustainable power that only a Range Rover can offer.

8. Audi A6 e-tron
Audi will be making a splash in the luxury sedan market with the much-hyped Audi A6 e-tron, and it will be making its debut this February. It is not a one-model, but a complete range of refinement and performance, in both graceful Sportback and functional Avant body designs. You like a smooth, coupe-like shape or the practicality of a wagon, the A6 e-tron will be able to bring you the best Audi experience with an electric twist.
Main features of Audi A6 e-tron:
- Comes in smooth Sportback and practical Avant.
- 3.7-second acceleration is exhilarating up to 543 hp.
- 800 V charging and 350-mile range.
- Premium technological interior with passenger screen.
The drivers will be given an exciting choice of powertrain options that will begin with a powerful 362 horsepower rear-wheel-drive base model. A powerful all-wheel-drive version with 422 horsepower will be offered to people who want to have better traction and performance. However, the real star is the high-performance S6 e-tron that delivers an impressive 543 horsepower, accelerating it 0 to 60 mph in a scorching 3.7 seconds. It translates to exhilarating acceleration that will pin you back in your seat, and easily blends luxury with actual sportiness.
In addition to brute force, the A6 e-tron will have a remarkable range and a rapid charge. The owners will enjoy a high EPA-estimated range of about 350 miles and this will mean that long trips will be done comfortably. Better still, it has a sophisticated 800-volt architecture, which is quickly emerging as a standard feature in high-end EVs, allowing it to charge in an incredibly short amount of time. This implies that there is less time to be spent in plugging and more time to be spent on the open road and range anxiety is a thing of the past.
Enter and you will see an interior that is of modern luxury and innovative technology. The cabin is well-considered, and it provides a high-quality experience that is associated with the Audi brand. To the non-drivers in the group, there is a really interesting feature, optional 14.5-inch display on the passenger side. This special screen enables the passengers to play games, watch movies or just have a rest and every short or long trip becomes a fun ride. The Audi A6 e-tron is not a car, it is a mobile lounge of the future, coming soon to transform the electric luxury.

9. Jaguar Type 00
Jaguar is embarking on a bold trip, transforming itself into a luxury, high-end EV brand, and the car industry is holding its breath! The Type 00 concept leads the pack in this radical change, and the ultimate design will be revealed in 2025, and the production will start the next year.
What makes Jaguar Type 00 special:
- The radical re-invention of Marks Jaguar as an all-electric brand.
- Striking concept design to launch in 2025.
- 430 mile range and ultra-fast 15 minute top-ups.
- Anticipated price of $127,000 of electric exclusivity.
Although the advertisement campaign in the run up to this unveiling has indeed raised a debate, the true measure of the new direction of Jaguar will lie in the actual launch of the Type 00 to the roads. We are informed that we should be getting an exterior that will most likely maintain the gorgeous look of the concept and this is great news! But there is a twist to the outside, the inside will be a dramatic departure, redefining luxury and technology in a manner that only Jaguar can. We are eager to find out what new designs and materials they have gone to.
Naturally, the most important aspect of any luxury EV is performance and range, and the Type 00 will provide. Jaguar is estimating a minimum of 430 miles of range on a single charge, which is quite free to cruise long distances. And when you do require a top up, it is game-changing that you can add 200 miles in 15 minutes on a fast charger, as it makes it convenient as well as its mighty abilities. These are numbers that put the Type 00 on the top of the electric luxury.
Dimensions have been exchanged too, which provides a better idea of this future icon: the car will be more than 5 meters long, slightly less than 2.5 meters wide and 1.3 meters high, which means that it will have an impressive and graceful look. Regarding the pricing, you should be ready to open your wallet, and the initial amount is at least considered to be 100,000, which will amount to approximately 127,000 dollars. It is a car that is aimed at people who value exclusivity, revolutionary design, and the pinnacle of electric luxury. The Type 00 is not merely a car, it is a collector car in the making.

10. GMC Sierra EV Denali
Truck lovers, prepare to be excited! In 2025, GMC will launch two new unbelievable models of its all-electric Sierra Denali pickup that are establishing new standards of electric truck capability. The increased range numbers are of particular interest to us, as it is one of the main concerns of truck buyers.
GMC Denali in short:
- New electric Denali reinvents power and range.
- 460 miles on a charge – industry-leading range.
- Air Ride suspension and crab walk maneuverability.
- 0-60 mph less than 4.5 seconds- serious performance.
The new Denali Extended Range is designed to handle an amazing 390 miles between charges, and the highest-end Max Range model is rated at an astounding 460 miles. Such numbers are indeed remarkable, providing the sort of freedom and ability that makes long trips or far-off escapades fully possible in an EV. The amazing range, combined with 800-volt rapid charging up to 350 kW, allows you to charge 100 miles of range in about 10 minutes – that is simply unbelievably fast in a truck!
And to those who admire fast acceleration, be ready to be impressed: the two models will accelerate to 0 to 60 mph in less than 4.5 seconds. Full-size pickup territory that is sports car! Sierra EV Denali also has Air Ride adaptive suspension, which will enable you to lift and lower the truck up to two inches, which is great when you are going through different landscapes or want to load it more easily. It is a mixture of brutality and elegant manipulation that makes it special.
However, this is the feature that made us absolutely flabbergasted, a genuine party trick in a science fiction film: the Sierra EV Denali can crab walk at low speed. Yes, you read that right! The rear wheels are capable of rotating at the same direction as the front wheels, allowing the truck to creep diagonally. This amazing ability to move easily in narrow spaces or overcome difficult off-road challenges will be easy to imagine. It is a new feature that highlights the fact that GMC is determined to go the extra mile in the engineering of the electric vehicles and make driving a car simpler and enjoyable than ever before.

11. AC Ace Classic Electric
Get ready to experience an incredibly grandiose combination of the past and the future when the oldest active car producer in Britain, AC Cars, is reintroducing its legendary Ace roadster, redesigned to meet the demands of the electric era! It is not a mere EV, it is a gorgeous homage to a classic and it will be every bit as beautiful and thrilling as its gasoline-powered predecessors, only with the silent, instant torque of an electric motor. The picture speaks volumes in itself, with a design that appears to be pretty mighty.
The specialities of AC Ace Classic Electric:
- Classic British roadster re-invented as an electric car.
- Carbon body is lightweight to maintain agility.
- 300 bhp engine provides exciting, quick acceleration.
- Range of 200 miles and 275,000 workmanship.
The most remarkable feature of the AC Ace Classic Electric is its unbelievable lightness, which is an impressive feat of an EV. It only weighs 1,134 kilograms, which is considerably less than most of the modern electric sports cars, by way of comparison, MG electric Cyberster coupé weighs a whopping 1,885 kilograms. This incredible weight loss is not least contributed by the fact that it has a beautiful carbon fiber bodywork that does not only improve performance but also gives the Ace its traditional, slick body shape. It weighs slightly more than its ICE counterpart, which is also a true engineering wonder, despite its large 72-kWh battery and a strong 300-bhp motor supplied by TREMEC.
And performance, let us speak of performance. Although the petrol version has a decent sprint time of 0 to 62 mph of 4.6 seconds, AC Cars is guaranteeing that this electric version will be even quicker, and will be able to give that instant, electric burst of acceleration that an EV alone can offer. Think of the excitement of having a real classic car with the new performance that will make the modern sports cars look like dust. It is an eternal style and a fast paced marriage that is simply unresistible.
In terms of range, AC claims that the EV will have a range of an impressive 200 miles on a single charge, which is more than enough to drive the car spiritedly and take it out on the weekend on a car that is meant to be enjoyed. Naturally, it will cost something to achieve such exclusivity and craftsmanship, and the prices will begin at a reasonable level of 275,000. The shipments will commence in spring, and the anticipation of this highly cool, open-top electric roadster is nearly intolerable. The AC Ace Classic Electric is not a car, it is a work of automotive art, re-created to meet the electric age.

12. Mercedes-Benz G-Class G580
Since the biggest Hollywood celebrities such as Arnold Schwarzenegger or the Pope himself, the G-Wagon has been the epitome of luxury, power, and uncompromising presence. And this legendary off-roader is today, in 2025, grandly entering the world of electrification, as a full EV, the Mercedes-Benz G-Class G580! It is not just an adaptation, but a reinvention that is set to carry with it all the ounce of its legendary power and pomposity and live a sustainable future. Get ready to have a car that is out of the ordinary.
Notable points of Mercedes-Benz G580:
- Legendary G-Wagon becomes electric and does not lose anything.
- There are four motors that generate a huge 579 hp.
- New G-Steering allows 360 degree turning of tanks.
- Master off-road and pure electric luxury at $168,000.
The G580 has a titanic punch underneath its rugged exterior which is immediately recognizable. It has four electric motors that add up to provide a roaring 579 horsepower. This unbelievable strength, fed by a powerful 200-kW charging system to its 116-kWh battery pack, makes its performance directly comparable to its ICE rivals, which are equally strong. We are speaking of an animal which, in only 4.6 seconds, can accelerate 0 to 60 mph and has a maximum speed of 112 mph. It is not an EV that competes, but it dominates.
However, the real difference in the G580, and what we, frankly, could not stop being amazed by, is its innovative G-Steering. This is not a mere fanciful technology, but it is a game-changer to off-roaders. G-Steering also allows amazing tank-turning capabilities, and this allows amazing 360-degree spinning in place and tight turning circles. Imagine the superior control this gives to the difficult off-road scouts, and it becomes an even more invincible power in the wild. It is a degree of agility that reinvents what a luxury off-roader is capable of doing.
The Mercedes-Benz G-Class G580 has an estimated price of approximately 168,000, which makes it firmly established in the electric luxury and capability segment. It is a car that does not sacrifice its history but uses electric technology to improve its most popular features. This G-Wagon is not only a status symbol, but it is a statement of innovation, and it shows that the future of adventure is electric, luxurious, and unbelievably powerful. G580 is there to conquer the urban jungle and the wild frontier with a style of ease and an electric performance.
The car industry is changing at a pace that is electrifying and as we have been on the road with these 12 amazing new electric cars, one thing is quite clear: the future is now and it is very exciting! The range of the future EVs is truly staggering, with luxury giants redefining their legendary models with silent power, and newcomers shaking the performance and design boundaries.
